The female attire from Santo Domingo Xenacoj is one of the best preserved in the country. The one for everyday use is composed of a huipil, a blue morga (distinctive skirt) with beautiful randas or embroidered seams, a su’t that is used as a cover, a ribbon and a sash. As part of the ceremonial dress, the following are also worn: three huipiles, one for everyday use, one for weddings, and one that is specific of the cofradía; a headdress with multicolored ribbons and a white veil.
