This is Quilt 025 of 042 in the UK AIDS Memorial Quilt collection, created during the late 1980's and early 1990's before there was effective treatment for people living with HIV.

German, pronounced Herman in Spanish, was a young painter.
His eyes closed just too soon, but his wit and positive attitude will live on our hearts forever.

This panel was made by fashion designer Marc Jacobs for his friend Scott.
This photo of Scott Fritz appeared on the theaidsmemorial instagram page and is the only image we have for him.

Joseph A Nicastro
He was an incredible, positive inspiration.

Joseph died on July 8th 1993.
The colours I have used represent marriage in Indian culture, red white and gold, often decorated in beads and stones

Keith Andrews
Keith earned an early reputation for eating cakes.

Keith died on the 9th April 1994
Keith was a regular at the Black Cap pub in Camden Town, north London
The Bell, Traffic and Bolts were popular gay clubs in 1980's London
