Brisé fan. Lacquered wood sticks; black ground with figures in landscape, surrounded with borders and other decorative detail exquisitely painted in two tones of gold and minute touches of vermillion. Reversible, so the in one direction, the composition seems to be thrown out of proper relation. Black silk ribbon. Red and green silk tassels. Gilt metal bail.
