Cascade

Oliver's most striking elegant work in the Tree'n exhibit is perhaps "Cascade", a wall mounted hallway table of maple solids and veneers with blue float glass. The simple half-moon shape of the table is embellished with whimsical compound curves, beautifully sculpted legs, and small irregular perforations that evoke his signature organic style. Oliver uses an engineered maple veneer on the table top with a swirling circular pattern, which when seen through the blue glass surface creates a water-like texture.
