Vsevolod Maksymovych can be considered as the most typical devotee of Art Nouveau style in Ukraine. His creativity embodies all the characteristic features of this artistic trend. The world on his canvases is always conventional, theatrical, masquerade-like. Masquerade resembles works of Aubrey Beardsley in minimalism of black and white colours.
