Eagle, after a Japanese porcelain model

Meissen figure of an eagle (Adler), modeled by Johann Gottlob Kirchner. It has delineated plumage, his head slightly turned and beak open, with his wings furled and tail lowered. It is perched on a craggy rock with talons curled over the edge.
