This fountain, featuring the Joy of Life sculpture by noted Pittsburgh artist Virgil Cantini, is crafted of the same Cor-Ten steel as the U. S. Steel Building. The sculpture originally graced the East Liberty Mall. Moved to its current location in front of East Liberty Presbyterian Church in 2010, this work of art, dedicated in 1969, represented unity in a time of unrest.
