First printing of "Rota" poem in "Przodownica" magazine

In November 1908, two magazines reprinted Konopnicka's poem "Rota" almost at the same time. These were "Gwiazdka Cieszyńska" (No. 90) and "Przodownica: pismo dla kobiet wiejskich" (no. 11). The poem became one of the most important patriotic texts of the time, it had several reprints and was even taken into consideration as the national anthem.
