Natalia and Yaroslav Kishchuk are trying to pass on their art - but in their case, it is not so easy. In 2009, the Kishchuks invented a unique method of making Gunia - traditional Carpathian outerwear. "We revived this art together because here in the Hutsul region it was mostly producing bed-bearers, not coats," Nataliya says. Friends from Transcarpathia shared local technology with the couple, and they improved it.
