What makes this small landscape unique is the fact that Tadeusz Pruszkowski did not create too many paintings in Kazimierz — he was simply present here, creating the myth of this place. Landscapes are also a rarity among the artist’s works. The theme of “Pejzaż z Kazimierza”, painted in 1936, is the sky. It dominates the picture. Next, we can see a tree and bushes in the foreground — Kazimierz can only be noticed after a moment, in the background, with a red accent of the parish church roof.
