Parkside Cafe

Heather Nagy has created many outdoor cafe scenes inspired by places she has found in the Orlando area. "Parkside Cafe" invites the viewer to slow down and savor the moments in life, large and small. In this large-scale canvas triptych, Nagy uses vibrant brushstrokes to create an inviting, lingering atmosphere.

The empty cafe takes on a different meaning in 2020 and beyond: "We wear the badge of 'busy' with honor and never slow down from all our important activities. This year, the pandemic has made us slow down and revealed our need for other people."
