Starting from experimental processes of translation and amplification of physical forces that, before the appearance of human being, have transformed the terrestrial sphere, this robotic installation works as an electro-geomantic acupuncture exercise, inviting us to change our perception of human time to millenary geological times. Resonancia de partículas en el tiempo uses as a central point the erosion phenomenon, with the noise of rocks colliding through four machines that modify their behavior according to the dust particles in the ambient. By using movement, light and sound, the erosion process amplifies, expressing the affection and vitality of the soils, against the narration of the extractivist “modern progress” that the South American countries live. The technology unfolds like an interface that lets us reveal those hidden mechanisms of cooperativity and co-creation between human and non-human. Honorable Mention - Robotic art.
