A family group with poor dresses, ahead a child with a flower in his left hand; follow him the father with a pilgrim's staff and a canteen, just one foot with sock and the mother with a bundle on her head; all of them have a bag; interpreted as poor pilgrims and then as farmers, are now seen as Berta, Milon and Roland before the forgiveness of Charlemagne.
