View of the National Theater in Prague

Chopin visited Prague in 1829. Václav Hanka showed Chopin and his friends around Prague. In gratitude for this reception, they offered him a piece called "The Prague mazurka in G major", entering it in Hanka's diary on August 23, 1829. The original of the entry, though slightly damaged, is now in the library of the National Museum in Prague.
