Electric pillow

The Grossag company of Germany introduced an interference-free heated pillow in around 1930. The radio receivers of the day were quite sensitive to electromagnetic interference, but static-free radio listening enjoyment was no problem with this heated pillow on one's lap. This is also shown clearly in the picture on the lid of the packaging.
