They offer younger ones the chance to perform, alongside professional artists, pieces on the theme of a show performed at the Opéra de Dijon.

They take place on the days before the opening performances, and at the same time as one of the programmed performances, enabling children to understand the show with a new outlook, and meaning that parents can attend the show.

Hand-in-hand
The project aims to promote the inclusion of disabled children in schools, and to facilitate the forming of bonds with their classmates, through site tours, meet and greets with musicians and their instruments, and special concert performances.

Happenings
To promote performances of Macbeth by Verdi at the Opéra de Dijon and to make them accessible to all, the Opera Choir (Chœur de l'Opéra) has organized happenings in various stores around Dijon, performing passages from the piece.

These nights give students the chance to meet the performers from an opera and enjoy a drink with them, just before attending the show.

These free tours are the perfect opportunity for visually-impaired individuals to discover the opera through touch, with the help of around 20 scale models of the building (interior and exterior) and sets and accessories used in shows currently being performed.
