This is one of the best specimens of Pyrosmalite (Mn) in the world due to the large size of the crystal clusters on Calcite. Originally named Manganpyrosmalite by Clifford Frondel and Lawson H. Bauer for its manganese-dominant composition relative to the original Pyrosmalite.
