- Description: This work is a detailed gloss with قوله on the same work, by ʿAbdal-Raḥmān al-Ḥindī, around 1100/1688. Preceding is adiscussion on الحمد and الشكر f.2v– 4r. The gloss begins f.4r قوله افتتح بحمد الله بعد البسملة اقتفاء بخير الكلام واقتداء بحديث خير الانام’ ان قيل قوله اقتداء بحديث خير الانام معطوف على قوله اقتفاء بخير الكلام وهو دليل للابتداء المقيّد اي ابتداء الحمد بعد البسملة The comment increasingly ignores the glossed text and, instead, makes independent explanations of the subject. It breaks off with the addendum of the fifth قسم, which deals with الاقيسة الشرطية – تكملة لمباحث الاقيسة الشرطية—which is the seventh مسلك—with the words (f.283r)وقس عليه البيان فى الشرطيات ويسهل عليك هذا الاستلزام بالنظر فيما سبق فى بحث التلازم فتدبر، Longer glosses are found in the margins, particularly in the first half. The characters (شكل) are missing. f.227v, 230v, 232r, 235v. – f.40v is nearly blank, but no text is missing.
