This 70mm film magazine was used in photographic work done by astronauts during the STS-31 Hubble Space Telescope deployment mission in 1990. Hasselblad cameras and equipment were staples of astronaut work from the early 1960s through to the transition to digital photography in the early 2000s. The high quality equipment and images were valued for their ease of use for multiple purposes.NASA transferred this film magazine to the Museum in 2008 when no longer needed for spaceflight.
