ISR Closing Ceremony

A ceremony on 26 June marked the closure of the Intersecting Storage Rings. The symbolic act was the return of the ISR key, which passed from Giorgio Bellettini (the last Chairman of the ISR Experiments Committee) back to a theorist, Viki Weisskopf who, as Director General in the early 1960s did much to promote the construction of the ISR.
