E.O. Clark's board game "The Charge" commemorates Theodore Roosevelt's Rough Riders and their charge up San Juan Hill during the Spanish-American War, in 1898. Roosevelt and his riders, considered heroes after this event, served as role models for many young men and boys at the time. Many board games featured Roosevelt imagery or battles from this war. The Charge is a strategy game aimed at older children.
