The top of this hair crown(pin) is wide with curved designs, which can also be called "Fen Xin". It looks like a head hoop, its front resembles peak, and its whole silouette almost looks veritical. According to "The Golden Lotus ", it can be worn in two different ways, the front way and the back way. The whole body of this hairpin are incised with lotus and mandarin ducks patterns. The mandarin ducks are shown in pairs, with a blooming lotus in the very middle. The mandarin ducks tails are also incised with lotus flower pattern, sealed with butterflies by the two ends of this crown. The main picture is fulfilled with delicate lotus scrolls. The mandarin ducks are normally used for showing faithful love between men and women, lotus means noble, honest and upright.
