This Lombard painter's long period in Catalonia resulted in the most genuine examples known in the country of European Late Mannerism between the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. At present, there are works by Toscano in Mataró, Sant Andreu de Llavaneres and Girona Cathedral. This master returned to Milan in 1617, where he still lived in 1629.
