1971

CERN

CERN
Geneva, Switzerland

The ten full aperture kicker magnet modules were contained in a 3 m vacuum tank, shown on its platform. Bernard Feral adjusted the resistor boxes. The high voltage pulses arrived over 120 m of special cables. They were powered separately by ten delay line pulse generators which were paired into five structures. Rene Bonvin (image 186.8.71) closed a cover in front of the high pressure spark gap switches.
