Diamond-quilted Satin Glass Pitcher

Trapping air bubbles between two layers of glass created the diamond-quilted pattern on the surface of this pitcher. The glass was first blown into a mold to create the pattern, then another layer of glass was placed over the pattern to trap the air. The glass was then acid-etched to achieve the soft finish.
