Milton Bradley Company produced a clever strategy game called Pathfinder in 1954. The game board somewhat resembled the board for the word game Scrabble, and players also place square tiles upon it. But Pathfinder is not a word game. Players create "paths" with specially marked tiles and accumulate points during the play. While two players may compete, the game allows for up to six at one time, or more as team play. Milton Bradley later produced another game called Pathfinder, different from this version.
