Unlabelled
This camisole is made from woven cotton/linen blend fabric with a most unusual flocked effect with cotton fibres applied in a raised dot pattern. An adhesive was dotted on the surface of the camisole. Cotton fibres, chopped into minute segments, were applied to the adhesive. The reverse side shows the pattern, but without the raised effect. You can see some of the ‘dots’ have peeled away. This is a very unusual technique especially to be found on an undergarment.
Machine cotton ribbon trim is used for the sleeves, neckline and waistband and down back.
