New Delhi , India

Vishnu’s front right hand is in abhaya-mudra (giving assurance); the rear right carries the chakra and the rear left the sankha (conch). This particular hand gesture is called the ‘tripitaka hasta’. He is wearing a very elaborate lower garment, evident from the fold marks, floral patterns and the multiple hemlines near the ankles.
