1969 League Cup Final programme

This programme is from the 1969 Football League Cup Final, with previous finalists Arsenal pitted against unfancied Third Division side Swindon Town.

However, Town claimed a shock first half lead after a mix-up in the Arsenal defence allowed Roger Smart to score. The Robins defended stoutly, but a Bobby Gould equaliser took the game to extra time.

Remarkably, the underdogs would prevail, Don Rogers striking twice to pull off one of the competition's greatest upsets.
