1984 Club Running Team at City to Surf

The first Club reel running Team at the City to Surf . In 1984 the club entered the 14 KM fun race wearing March pass costumes, carrying the rescue reel and flag. Maneuvering through the crowds whilst running in such an organised group is a constant challenge to the team.

1984 was the clubs first of many city to surf reel team where members carried the reel and banner the entire course.
LHS Peter Heyward 444 behind him is Andy Hayward.
