This project addresses the questions of
space, the activities occurring within that
space, and how the space transforms as
a result.
Through the research on “Mapping
Gesture,” we sought to excavate a
new territory, define the gaps between
its constituent parts, and explore the
experience from that interval.
Multiple forms of media such as
photography, video, performance,
painting, and drawing are used to better
reveal the concept of the work. The entire
process becomes part of the work.
The unique approach of Tomaz Hipólito’s
works offers a fresh and original view of
the world.
