Attesting to the family's interest in oceangoing vessels, this diminutive booklet produced by Scribner's Magazine contains twenty steamship trivia questions. Scribner's Magaziine was a popular American periodical produced from 1887 to 1939. The cover illustration on "20 Questions About Steamships" also appeared in an April 1891 Scribner's article, "Ocean Passenger Travel" by John H. Gould.
