Indi (Pot ring)

This indi was made by the daughter-in-law of the family by knitting woollen threads of different colours. It was used by all the women in the family whenever anyone had to fetch water or cow dung from the cattle shed. It was always kept on the sill of a window in the verandah of the house from where anyone could take it for their use.
