Ensayos mínimos. Una colección de breves instantes (8’’ Minimal essays. A collection of brief instants)

I recorded these short videos with my mobile during the entire 2019 while I was riding my bicycle around different places of Villa Mercedes city, trying to register different movements where the surrounding was the protagonist. I tried to capture the depth of some images, objects, and feelings as I moved around the city. Many of those moments were kept until the lockdown that we lived in 2020, when I decided to edit them and make a video that spoke about something that overwhelmed me at that moment and I think it is the big irony of my life: the paradox of finitude that we all experience. Thus, the narrative and composition of this video are planned as a visual metaphor of some milestones in life, from birth to death… Like a collection of brief instants. “It is impossible that I can die while life is still alive in goldfinches and horses”.
