A small cabinet built in a corner formed by two walls is called a khuniya in Haryana. It is found in bedrooms or storerooms of residences. Such cabinets are specially used to store sweets and perishable delicacies. In Haryana, khuniya is generally a term used to refer to any right-angle corner of a room or furniture.
