Obverse: scene of head relief profile to left of Cyrus Field, awarded laurel wreath by the hand of God, above ocean with ships sailing to globes of America left and Europe right; legend, Honor and Fame are the Reward. Indomitable perseverance and Enduring Faith achieved the Success; artists, JG Bruff D. Barber F.
