These mudhi were recorded in a shop where sarkanda furniture were being made and sold. Until a few years ago, the horn of a deer was used as a tool to tighten the ropes while weaving the seat. It is now done using a metal pipe cast in a similar shape. In a day, a craftsperson is able to make around four mudhi.
