This peti was placed in the bedroom of a residence and was used to store clothes. The facade was decorated with brass studs and rivets to form patterns. The corners were braced with cast metal fittings that also added to the aesthetics of the chest. Two drawers were originally present at the bottom which had been removed due to damage over time.
