Panghuda (Cradle)

Panghuda is a cradle generally made with a wooden frame support and a crib/cot suspended from the top tie member. The sleeping surface of the crib would traditionally be made of cotton ropes, but this example had thin nylon straps. This panghuda had horizontal rails along the sides, at the centre of which were prints of deities encased in panels.
