In this residence, a separate room was dedicated to keep the vernacular furniture like sandook, manja and the peti almari. The lady who this peti almari belonged to had stored in it the clothes, utensils, and phulkari bed sheets gifted by her mother-in-law, as a way to preserve the unique cultural gifts given in a wedding.
