This khaat was recorded in a room adjacent to the courtyard in a residence. A cotton quilt was rolled up and placed on one end of the khaat, which would be laid out while sleeping. This was done to make space for people to sit on it during the day. One of the legs was broken and replaced by a carved leg from another broken khaat.
