A Borana Oromo Abbaa Gadaa

A Borana Oromo Abbaa Gadaa wearing his traditional Bullukoo which is a white garment often worn by the Abbaa Gadaa. The Bullukoo has the colors black,red and white representing the Gadaa flag. The man is also holding a stick called Bokkuu which represents power and authority. The headwear on his head is known as Ruufa and is often worn by older men with status in the Borana Oromo community.
