View of the interior of a bedroom--of a canopied bed on a dais under which is visible a chamber pot and slippers. At left, the door latch is secured closed with a knife. Upon the bed, a young man wearing a plumed hat and a mantle wraps his arm around the woman seated beside him. They gaze intently at one another.
