This well-bejeweled image with divine composure on face and a large splendid halo behind is obviously a deity figure, perhaps a folk god of Hanuman’s genre, or his transform. In one of his hands he is carrying a weapon with a grooved pointed head, lengthwise spear-like but with a mace-like head. As much strange is the object carried in the other hand. What should normally be a shield looks like a large lotus or a basket.
