IDEAL HOME EXHIBITION OPENS js 3.3.1958. The Daily Mail Ideal Home Exhibition opened today at Olympia. PICTURE SHOWS: One of the exhibits: The Roof House which can be made to grow with the requirements of a family or the increaseof income. In the first stage the roof is built on the ground and in its shelter are constructed three bedrooms, a living room, kitchen-dining-room and bathroom. When finances permit a ground floor can be built and the roof can be hoisted up and placed on top of this ground floor so as to make a two-storeyed house. In the picture you can see alterations as such being done to the Roof House. HOUSING - HOUSES - PERMANENT
