SPIDERS WORK FOR BRITAIN.
British spiders are classed as a "protected industry" and are actually working for the Allies. One factory in London which manufactures binoculars has ten tame spiders - portions of whose webs are used as thin lines to divide the lens into sqaures.
Photo just taken shows MR E. BARKER marking a lens with the aid of a portion of spider's web on a frame.
