The low chair is constructed with a woven jute seat on a wide seat frame set upon turned, flared front legs and square back legs. The elaborately carved chair back has a pair of birds flanking an upper register with a centered floral medallion surrounded by leafing and flowering vines above turned baluster columns. The lower register displays a swastik infilled with openwork floral motifs between two rectangular floral panels. The wood joins are reinforced with iron brackets.
