Zegota is the nickname for the "Council for Helping Jews" underground organization in occupied Poland
The organization was active from 12/1942 till 01/1945 when most of Poland was liberated. There were five Polish movements represented in the Zegota, two of them were Jewish: The Bund and the National Jewish Council.
