An unidentified bust of a youth appears beneath the arch for the month of April in the Stammheim Missal's calendar. When compared to that on the previous page, the circular diagram he presents shows the increasing proportion of lightness to darkness for this month. The zodiacal sign of Aries, the ram, decorates the middle of the page.
