An aada is an in-built cabinet which is built as part of the structure of a building. This aada was built near the kitchen and used to store utensils and food stuffs. The structural stone slabs used to create the niche were set protruding from the wall. The top protruding slab formed a taan (shelf) and was used to store spice boxes.
